Campy Love Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Campy Love is an iOS app for browsing camps, saving places, and submitting camp details and reviews. We collect only what is needed for the core service.
Information We Collect
- Location permission: used to show your current location and nearby camps on the map. We do not use continuous background location.
- Local account data: name, city, favorites, and submission records are mainly stored on your device.
- User submissions: camp details, reviews, ratings, tags, coordinates, and submission times may be sent to our server for review and display.
- Basic technical data: the server may record request time, endpoint path, and error logs to troubleshoot issues and keep the service stable.
How We Use Information
- Show camp lists, map markers, details, and directions.
- Save favorites, reviews, camp submissions, and review status.
- Review user-submitted content and handle corrections.
- Improve data quality, safety notes, and app reliability.
User Content and Review
New camps and reviews may go through review. We may remove illegal, infringing, harassing, promotional, clearly inaccurate, or unsafe content. Users can report objectionable content and block abusive users in the app.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Camp data may include public-source information such as OpenStreetMap and retain its source and license notices.
Retention and Deletion
Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app. To delete or correct server-side submissions or reviews, contact us through the support page.
